You will not be disappointed. The Best Of Wayne ToupsThis is one of the best CD's he has every produced.
Sheriff unlocked him, and let him "get at it". Wayne's getting the throne that should be proudly passed down from msgr.
Soon we'll see, if the boy can stay out of jail,, he's a cajun lejund. Doug Kershaw.
Wayne was arrested, say, Friday, for,,,,whatever. That's a boy that wants to satisfy his crowd yea.
yea. Saturday, he had the sheriff bring him ONSTAGE WITH CUFFS AND ORANGE SUIT.
After the gig, sheriff came back and got 'im.
I ordered "Back from the Bayou" and the words to Take my Hand are not the same as the ones on a friends CD. I am trying to get more info on a particular track. Sorry, this isn't a review. Am I confused or are there two different versions. How can I hear or see the words to Take My Hand. The song "Take my Hand", appears on several CD's.
He plays a killer schedule worldwide and is known for leaving it all on the stage. The ballads are of equal quality, with lyrics and melodies that soothe the soul. This ain't your traditional Cajun musical group. I've seen the band play at Mulate's and it was awesome. Vive Wayne Toups. Wayne Toups, the self-proclaimed king of "Zydecajun", has created a Cajun/Zydeco/Country/Tabasco fusion unlike any other sound. While I'm partial to traditional Cajun, Toups' music is so compelling, creative and energetic that I've become a convert.
And even if you don't dance, it will make you FEEL GOOD in your soul. If you've never heard of Wayne Toups, take it from someone who has been enjoying his music for years; you're not going to be disappointed with this album. The ultimate party music, especially if you like your music with a lot of Tabasco sauce on it. There is also a great balad on here, a love song called, "Take My Hand". (reviewed by Jerry Diaz, Arthur Ford, and Mark Hammond, from the band KEY WEST) Wayne Toups has been entertaining folks in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi (and abroad) for many years now, and it ain't hard to se why he is one of the hottest acts on the Gulf Coast. The music has an infectious beat, that will make you want to dance.
